ATS Check is a free app by Blossomn that runs inside the Canva editor and scores your resume design for applicant tracking systems. By using ATS Check you agree to these terms. They're written to be readable — no surprises.

01Who provides ATS Check

ATS Check is built and operated by Blossomn, a software studio in India ("we", "us"). Questions: info@blossomn.com. ATS Check runs as an app inside Canva, so your use is also subject to Canva's Terms of Use and applicable app-platform policies. Where they conflict for matters governed by the Canva platform, Canva's terms control.

02Price

ATS Check is free to use inside the Canva editor. There are no paywalls in this version.
To keep the free service available and prevent abuse, we may apply reasonable usage limits (for example, a cap on scans within a period).
If we ever introduce paid features, we'll make the price and terms clear before you're charged, and we won't retroactively charge for use that was free.

03How the app works with your design

When you press Scan, ATS Check reads the text of your current page and sends it (with any optional job title / job description you enter) to our backend to generate a score and fixes. See the Privacy Policy for the data details.
ATS Check does not change your design unless you press Apply fix on a specific issue. You can always Copy a fix and edit it yourself.
You're responsible for reviewing any change before relying on it. We recommend keeping your own copy of your design.

04What ATS Check is — and isn't

ATS Check is an informational tool. Its score and fixes are best-effort guidance, not a guarantee that any particular employer's system will parse your resume a certain way, or that you'll be shortlisted.

Applicant tracking systems vary, and parsing behavior differs between them and changes over time. ATS Check helps you make a design more machine-readable, but it can't promise outcomes in any hiring process. Don't treat the score as a definitive verdict — use it as a guide, and apply judgment to the suggested fixes.

05Acceptable use

Use ATS Check for its intended purpose on designs you own or are permitted to edit. Don't reverse-engineer the app, abuse or attempt to circumvent usage limits, overload the backend, or use the app to violate any law or any third party's rights. Don't submit content you don't have the right to process.

06Intellectual property

ATS Check, its name, logo, and design are owned by Blossomn. Using the app grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it under these terms. Your resume content remains yours — we claim no ownership of it.

07Third-party services

ATS Check relies on Canva (the platform and design APIs it runs on) and Anthropic (the AI provider that generates the score and fixes). Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for the availability or behavior of third-party services.

08Disclaimer of warranties

ATS Check is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its scores or fixes will be accurate or complete.

09Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blossomn will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, opportunities, or profits, arising from your use of ATS Check. Since the app is free, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to it will not exceed USD $50. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

10Changes to the app and these terms

We may update ATS Check and these terms over time. If we make a material change to the terms, we'll post a notice at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing here limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
